Privacy at FoxTiming

Timers on your device

Timer, stopwatch, focus-session, language, sound, and theme settings are processed in your browser. Language, sound, and theme preferences may be stored in local storage so they remain available on your next visit.

Shared countdowns

When you request a short sharing link, FoxTiming stores the event title, target time, random sharing code, creation time, and expiry time. Anyone with the link can view that title and target time, so do not include private or sensitive information. Shared countdowns may remain stored until one year after their target date.

Security verification

FoxTiming may use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse. Verification data is processed by Cloudflare according to its own privacy terms. FoxTiming does not store the visitor IP address in its countdown database.

Analytics

FoxTiming may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first and states that it does not collect or use visitors' personal data.

Advertising

If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve and measure ads. Google's advertising cookies may be based on visits to this and other websites. Visitors can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. Additional vendors will be listed here before they are enabled.
